Absolute Best Disneyland Snacks

There are some great restaurants at Disneyland, and we LOVE a great meal (Blue Bayou anyone??), but sometimes our favorite thing is a quick snack so we can power through a full Disney day. These are our favorite snacks: sweet, savory, and everything in between.

Sweets!

1. Dole Whip

Of course, it's our favorite

2. Ice Cream Nachos

Just ask at the Golden Horseshoe (even if they're not on the menu) and you'll get a trio of ice cream scoops with all the sundae fixings, and they're laying on top of crushed up waffle cone pieces that you can use like chips to scoop your "nachos." So fun!

3. Churro

I'm a fan of the classic churro, available at carts all over the parks, but you can also find churros with caramel dipping sauce at the Cozy Cone as well as flavored churros and churro ice cream sandwiches at the California Churro Cart in Downtown Disney.

4. Mickey Beignets

I can't think of a better snack than Mickey shaped beignets and a Mint Julep. Just watch out for the lines at the Mint Julep Bar. They can get pretty long!

5. Matterhorn Macaroon

This treat is only available at the Jolly Holiday and is so delicious! We tried making them ourselves once, but it's hard to get that iconic Matterhorn shape.

8. Mickey Macaron

Also at the Jolly Holiday is the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron. Omg!!!

7. Mickey Ice Cream Bar

This one seems a bit plain and simple after all of the other treats listed, but really... it's rich and creamy and wonderful!

Savory!

1. Bengal BBQ Skewers

The Banyan Beef skewer is amazing if you want some serious spice, or go for the Bengal Beef skewer if you want something more mild.

2. Popcorn

A classic, am I right? Also check out the flavored popcorns at the Cozy Cone (dill pickle, buffalo ranch, white cheddar, Sriracha, pizza, or garlic parmesan!)

3. Garlic Cheddar Bagel Twist

This is one of our all time faves and is available at both Maurice's Treats and the Cozy Cone

4. Chili "Cone" Queso

Snacks just taste better in a cone! This one could be big enough to have as a meal, or you can share it and eat it on the go!

5. Lobster Nachos

All of the appetizers on the Cove Bar menu are delicious, but there is something very special about the lobster nachos!
Pro tip: If you're not a big lobster fan, you can also order this with tri tip or without meat at all!

For A Limited Time!

The Main Street Electrical Parade is back at it's original home from January through June this year, and it's brought some Parade inspired treats with it! Check these out (image credit to the Disney Food Blog):
